| This Pathfinder was completely stripped down and rebuilt from the hull up. The outer hull shell is the only original part from 1999. The hull was restored with a new custom deck layout, new stringers, bulkheads, and storage compartments. You will not find another Pathfinder with this same layout or deck design unless you copy my build. No expense was spared on the structural rebuild. I used the best materials on the market to rebuild the boat. 1708 biaxal fiberglass was laid on the stringers and bulkheads, and the deck was built with honeycomb board so there is no possibility of future rotting. In my opinion, this boat is much stronger than a factory Pathfinder. I say this with confidence because I've tested my work and abused the boat after the build just to see how it handles it. Rest assured, despite my testing, you'll be buying a boat in perfect brand new shape.
The entire hull is painted using AwlGrip products. I used 545 primer on the inside and out, and sprayed the topcoats. The key to a long lasting paint job goes deeper than products used, but more so related to the prep work done (sanding stages, wipe downs, buffing). Obviously, these steps were taken during the painting of this boat and it is a top-notch paint job.
The tower was custom engineered and designed specifically for this boat. This allows the tower to be at maximum height without compromising safety. The tower can safely handle with 2-3 people up top. The boat can safely handle with persons up top while running at high-speed. You can even maneuver the boat on a plane with people upstairs! The tower stands 13.4in high on the trailer. Legal clearance heights for the state of FL is 13.6. I've trailered it tower up all across Florida with no issues. Anywhere an 18 wheeler can pass under, so can this boat. Again, I've tested this boat fully. I've even sent her out in 4-6 waves offshore and she cruised out there at 20kts just fine. The biggest selling point regarding the tower is how its mounted. A custom-mounting bracket was welded for the tower and was infused into the stringers and further lag bolted into the stringers. This tower is not going anywhere without the rest of the boat! Further more the tower is rigged with factory OEM Yamaha dual station controls. This means that there is a normal Yamaha throttle rigged at both stations, not the dual action shift - speed throttles mostly common on diesel boats. Also, the OEM Yamaha dual station controls prevent one throttle from being shifted while another throttle is in use. This is a huge safety feature that will prevent your motors gearbox from being stripped. Factory Yamaha DS controls also feature more safety by providing a kill switch lanyards at both stations. Yamaha DS controls are electronically shifted, so even though the throttles are mechanical, they are electronically assisted. I also replaced all shift cables with Teleflex Xtreme cables (best on the market) so shifting is tight (by setting preference) and smooth as can be.
For electronics, the boat features a total of 3 7in Garmin touch screen units that are all synched together by a Garmin GCV10 sonar unit. The additional GCV10 sonar unit gives all three units down vue and side vue sonar capabilities. The units also share BlueChips map data.
The stereo is overkill but I like to party, so if you do too, you'll understand. The stereo is an older discontinued model from 08, but I searched long and hard to find a brand new unit, because in my opinion, the Clarion CMD4 is best marine unit if you're an audio fanatic. This unit features adjustable bass and treble knobs that allow for instant tuning. This unit also features processors that enhance the sound quality and go great with the JL amplifiers. The stereo is fully controllable from both stations via wired remote. Ran out of space call me for more info.. Located in Pompano Beach Florida. |

The Electronics include a Hummingbird 998c GPS Fishing System (new in 2010 @ $2,000.00); SITEX Ultima VHF Marine Radio w - Antenna; Poly-Planar AM - FM Stereo System; Ritchie Compass; Electronic Trim Tabs; and all of the standard 2001 PATHFINDER 2200 T&T Tunnel Helm Instrumentation. The three (3) Spreader Lights are a must for your evening fishing adventures and deliver more than ample lighting. No need to spook the fish with this set up as she's also equipped with a MINN KOTA Riptide 80# Thrust Trolling Motor with two (2) New (in October 2012) Deep Cycle Marine Batteries.
